Duties and Responsibilities of a Security Guard
- Monitor the Institute’s property and maintain a safe secure environment
- Monitor, Check, and control all incoming and outgoing vehicles.
- Records all Institute’s property taken out of the gate
- Writes daily reports and maintains a diligent record of legal and illegal activities
- Prepares and submits monthly security reports to the Human Resource Officer
- Watch for signs of crime or disorder; investigate disturbances
- Report any suspicious/unusual occurrences to authorities and management
- Patrol premises randomly and regularly, including buildings and perimeter
- Operate metal detector and x-ray machines, as needed
- Carry out any other relevant function as assigned by the Regional Director
